- I don’t differentiate between service and repair, as it is all work and if there is a problem while servicing it’s going to want fixing anyway.
- It is very difficult to give an accurate quote without first dismantling to inspect and test, but I will keep you informed if there are any unseen major costs involved or I think it is becoming a budgetary problem.
- Turnaround is usually 1 to 2 weeks depending on spares availability
It helps to give a good description of any fault symptoms, and whether it has been looked at by anyone else and do please say if it has been dropped as this can save a lot of heartache and embarrassment.
All repair work carried out is guaranteed for three months, and valves for one month. Unrelated faults that may occur during this period are not covered. I cannot be held responsible for misuse so please do respect your amp.
- Single items or batches as required
- These are a different kettle of fish and can be extremely time consuming in labour and parts sourcing. I will be accepting these in the near future by agreement.
- Let me know the make, model, and problem and I will give you an idea as to whether it’s practical and economic for me to have a look at.
- I do not repair modern pa mixers, keyboards, or floor pedals. Nowadays it just is not economic, firstly to dismantle, and secondly to try and source parts for equipment that is mass produced to a price, and very often obsolete after a relatively short life span.
